My dear cheeky loveable Uncle Paddy. Saying goodbye to you has broken my heart. You were my one and only Uncle that not only loved me as your niece but also like a daughter. Thank you for being such a fabulous grandee and treating me as a granddaughter. I loved every minute I spent with you, as you always made me feel so welcome and would make me laugh. We always had such fantastic times at the darts, you always thought you would get arrested for your outfits! Joe and I would laugh together when you said you would marry me! I miss you already, but will come to visit you for a chat and catch up. I hope we did you proud today, celebrating your amazing life x

The memory of you in your white van, driving slowly by our street, parking up, and always giving John’s van a once-over check with just a glance. Dad. It still doesn't seem real that you are no longer with us. There is an ache in my heart that feels like it will never heal . I will miss our weekends away, watching Spurs play up the Greenacres , family meals with the boys and Chloe , dressing up at the darts, concert nights out and telling you about adventures we had been on. There are so many treasured memories and they bring some comfort to us all. You were funny, cheeky, wise and kind and I'm privileged to have had you as my dad. I hope you know how much we loved you . Paddy My memories of you go back over 40years and there’s too many good ones so difficult to just pick one. The best times would have to be in middle bar of the venture with my dad, your friend Big Mac The craic was mighty and the beer was plenty. Never a dull moment with you bunch x x. What can I say about my daddy except he was a legend. He would make people laugh, he would be silly, bit sexy, some days he would talk so much and exaggerate everything, 5 miles would turn into 500 lol. Some days he wouldn't talk at all but that was dad. To say I will miss him is an understatement, his little ways, his van, driving in the square the wrong way, his silly noises, his cheeky smile when he had selective hearing and knows exactly what you said but chose to ignore it, I could go on and on. The hole he has left in my heart is immense and I will miss him forever, I love you Daddy, my pappy as I called him. Forever in my heart - always xxxxx
